" Malkani " Clan of Laghari Baloch Tribe
The Malkani Baloch Clan of Laghari tribe is one of the Royal Family of Laghari Tribe found in Mirpurkhas region of Sindh and Dera Ghazi Khan region of Balochistan of Pakistan. Malkani's primarily speak Balochi, Seraiki, and Sindhi Language.
This Clan of Laghari tribe migrated from Balochistan with Talpur Mirs (which is also a branch of laghari tribe) and accompanying many other Baloch Clan such as khoso, Jatoi, Rind and Marri. The Chief of Malkani's resides in Mirpurkhas region of Sindh and they still maintain very strong Baloch Cultural values. Malkani name is derived from their forefather Malak khan's name. Malkani's are usually called by there family name but they use their Last name as Laghari to distinguished themselves from other Baloch Clans who have a common family name. The Malkani Family is One of the Royal Family of Laghari tribe. The Chief of this Family had large Agricultural lands and were titled as Jagirdaar's, and are called Rais.

Sardar Rais Hussain Bux Khan Malkani Laghari was titled as Jagir-e-Azam of Sindh, He had strong ties with the Ruling Talpur Family of Sindh and was considered to be One of the Most Prominent and Dominant Personality in the Sindh Province, one of the author also wrote about him in his book still present in sindhology museum and titled him as Jagir-e-Azam of Sindh. Sardar Rais Hussain Bux Khan had four son namely Sardar Rais Wahid Bux Khan (1), Rais Ellahi Bux Khan (1), Rais Ghous Bux Khan and Rais Qaim Khan (2). The Successor of Sardar Rais Hussian Bux Khan was his eldest son Sardar Rais Wahid Bux Khan (1), And the Successor of Sardar Rais Wahid Bux Khan (1) was his eldest son Sardar Rais Rasool Bux Khan who is the present day Sardar of this Family, Sardar Rais Rasool Bux Khan has two son's his elder son Rais Wahid Bux Khan (2) and his younger son Rais Mir Balach Khan.
Malkani Family's lands are situated in their forefather's village, Called "Village Rais Hussain Bux Khan Malkani Laghari". And have their own Raaj in their village and have Large number of people living under their command, those families are mainly subclans of laghari tribe and from other tribes.
~Malkani family is also found in two other Baloch Tribes :
1) Rind Baloch Tribe, Derived Malkani name From their Forefathers name Manak khan Rind and are mainly found in Dadu Region of Sindh.
2) Jat Baloch Tribe, Derived Malkani name from their Forefathers name Malik Khan Jat and they are mainly found in Thatta Region of Sindh.
